Maintenance Operative (Multi-Site)
East Anglian Schools Trust | Full time, permanent | 37 hours | Grade 4
Primarily based in the Woodbridge area
We are seeking a practical, hands-on Maintenance Operative to join our Estates team in a varied and rewarding role across our primary schools, primarily based in the Woodbridge area.
Working across multiple sites, you will play a key part in keeping our schools safe, secure and well maintained. You will carry out day-to-day repairs, support health and safety compliance, and help create high-quality environments for pupils and staff.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver general maintenance, repairs and site support
- Help maintain safe, clean and secure school premises
- Support contractors and assist with planned works
- Contribute to health and safety checks and compliance
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in maintenance, caretaking or a trade background
- Practical skills across basic repairs and building maintenance
- A proactive, reliable and flexible approach
- Ability to work across multiple sites
