Required from September 2022
We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of P.E to join our Physical Education team. Due to the current staffing make-up in the department and as the role involves supervision in the boys’ changing rooms, we specifically need a male member of staff. The post could suit an NQT as well as a more experienced candidate. In the event of an NQT appointment, the contract and salary would be available for a July start if preferred.
This is an exciting time for our new school as we develop a culture of high expectations focussed on delivering outstanding achievement for all of our students. 2019 (the last series of actual exams) delivered the best ever GCSE results for the school and a recent OFSTED inspection upgraded the academy in every category.
Park Vale Academy is part of the Redhill Academy Trust. The academy is also a member of The Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and the chance to work alongside other high performing schools in the region. For a discussion about the role, please contact Mr Bowhay, Headteacher, on the academy telephone number.
An application form can be downloaded from our academy’s website or by contacting Miss R Kay at rkay@parkvaleacademy.org.uk.
As Park Vale Academy is committed to safeguarding children practices, any appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and successful references.
