Westfield Primary School is a friendly and innovative school situated on the fringes of Midsomer Norton. We have a strong and supportive ethos across the whole school community and all staff, pupils, and parents care about and contribute to the development of the school.
We always consider the wellbeing of everyone in the school and ensure that the school environment is attractive and well maintained.
We have outstanding ICT provision; school lunches are brilliant; a large staff car park and only ten miles from the beautiful city of Bath!
We need a teacher who expects the best from themselves, their pupils and the school; who values support and colleagues and who wants to develop.
In January 2023, Ofsted judged Westfield as a good school with outstanding features.
The inspectors recognised that “the school is inclusive and welcoming.” The school prioritises “pupils’ character development through an exceptional programme of experiences.” The children “enjoy activities to enhance the curriculum, such as the ‘Fantastic Futures’ programme and the link with the local university to promote physical activity.”
“Pupils say they know how to value everyone,” and “The school values of creativity, respect, collaboration, ambition and resilience support everything the school does.”
