Mathematics Teacher job summary
It is an exciting time at Becket Keys Church of England School (Outstanding, 2014). We are working hard to build upon the exam successes of our founding cohorts, whilst also establishing our new 6th Form into its third year making this a fantastic opportunity to teach Science up to KS5.
Due to the continued expansion of our new school, especially in demand for Sixth Form Mathematics places, we are seeking a new teacher to join our highly successful department.
We are looking for passionate teachers and are open minded to where you are in your career! We have an engaging curriculum that has been advised on by the Russell Education Trust who aim to see students across the ability range falling in love with Mathematics and going on to study it firstly at A Level and then at university. Our high numbers in Mathematics and Further Mathematics in our Sixth Form are testament to this. Students really enjoy their Mathematics lessons here. We are looking for energetic and engaging teachers who enthuse about the Mathematics curriculum.
There are opportunities to contribute to school wide curriculum development especially in STEM activities that enrich our students’ experience. If you are looking for a first leadership role, this could be for you!
Commitment to safeguarding
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need a full DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, which can be applied for once a job offer is made.
