Mathematics Tutor (Catch Up Support) job summary
The role of Maths Tutor is to deliver catch-up tuition to students and will involve working closely with the Maths Faculty, providing small group tuition (3-5 students) and one to one support. The Tutor will support the work of teachers in delivering programmes of work and taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.
This post would suit a recent graduate who is looking to gain experience in education and potentially move on to teacher training. The ability to offer some tuition in Maths would be advantageous. A degree in a Maths or Science based subject would be desirable.
