We are seeking two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team for disadvantaged learners to provide Maths and/or English tuition. Applicants must have a genuine passion for transforming the lives of vulnerable learners. The ideal candidate will have QTS and previous experience of supporting a wide range of student needs.
The successful candidates must be capable of supporting level 2/GCSE students as they continue their studies in Maths and English. We are conscious that the extended COVID lockdown will have undoubtedly impacted students in terms of lost learning and where some may be able to recover and get back on track simply through exposure to high quality first teaching, for others additional support will be needed.
Tutor will typically work with students in small group settings, with the areas for particular focus on being identified by the student’s teacher or the subject lead. The intervention sessions will be focussed in order to have maximum impact in terms of supporting students to rapidly address identified gaps in learning and to make progress.

Our two form entry primary phase opened in September 2019 and we are eagerly awaiting the completion of our brand new state-of-the-art development on the secondary site. New facilities include a three-storey teaching block containing 22 classrooms and SEND Hub, a fully refurbished Post 16 Learning Centre and a floodlit all weather sports pitch to complement our already extensive sporting facilities.
