We are looking for an effective communicator and highly organised individual to lead the Operational team at the Yorkshire Ridings Maths Hub, based at Harrogate Grammar School in the role of Operations Manager. A successful candidate will have the skills, qualities and experience to be able to effectively provide leadership, management and operational support to the team, and to develop and manage efficient systems for communications, finance, data and projects to support the smooth running of the Maths Hub.
The Yorkshire Ridings Maths Hub is proud to be one of only 40 Maths Hubs in the country. The Maths Hubs programme brings together all mathematics education professionals in a national network of hubs, each locally led by an outstanding school or college, in our case Harrogate Grammar School. We work in partnership with neighbouring schools, colleges, universities, CPD providers, maths experts and employers to improve student achievement, participation and attitudes. The Maths Hub provides links with several hundred schools across the region, including primary, secondary, post 16 and further/higher education partners, ensuring that the needs of schools are identified and met by providing bespoke support and development programmes.
We are looking for someone who:
Has successful leadership experience
Can communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Has experience managing financial budgets
Has experience managing multiple projects
