Maths Intervention Teacher (Part Time, 0.6-0.8FTE) job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to work as part of a friendly, collegiate, successful and hardworking Maths department.
We believe that Archbishop Holgate’s is ‘no ordinary school’ and is an excellent place to work. Maths is a high performing collegiate department which fosters a real love of Maths in the students they teach. The department has enjoyed success in recent years on the reformed GCSE, securing Progress 8 outcomes in excess of +0.30 for the last three years, with a 4 plus figure of 80% in 2019, making it the best performing maths department in the city. Maths remains one of the most popular subjects at Post 16 with both Maths and Further Maths being offered. The Maths department moved to a new state of the art building in September 2020.
