Position: Maths Lead (Maternity Cover)
Salary: MPR (£31,650 - £43,607) or UPR (£45,646 - £49,084) with TLR 2
Location: Isle of Ely Primary School
Contract: Full Time, Maternity Cover
Start Date: 22nd April 2025

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled class teacher with a passion for Mathematics and a desire to take the next step in their career as a temporary Maths Lead. This exciting opportunity will see you join our management team, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and middle leaders to drive improvements and enhance the quality of education at our school.
About the Role:
As a Maths Lead, you will:
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support professional development.
- Play a key role in shaping and implementing strategies that inspire a love of maths across the school.
- Work closely with staff, students, and families to promote high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement.
About you:
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a clear and confident understanding of effective maths teaching and learning practices.
- Be familiar with and demonstrate proficiency in White Rose Maths.
- Motivate and inspire pupils, staff, parents, and carers.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to raise aspirations and outcomes for all learners.
- Show a strong commitment to equity and inclusion in education.
- Be a creative, self-driven practitioner ready to embrace this leadership challenge.
