The Ellesmere Port C of E College is looking to appoint a Lead Practitioner in Maths who will work closely with the Director of Standards (Maths) and Senior Leadership Team, as well as other colleagues throughout the department, to drive continuing improvement in students’ progress as well as the quality of Teaching and Learning within maths.
The successful candidate should be innovative and willing to lead on a number of initiatives, whilst working as part of a team. With your proven track record of leading Maths at middle/senior leader level, you should demonstrate experience of raising attainment in Maths across all Key Stages.
You will be a dedicated, talented and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about Teaching and Learning and developing pedagogical approaches that inspire learners and teachers. You should have high expectations of yourself, colleagues and students.
The ability to be a highly successful team player in a very busy and fast-paced environment is essential. You will have the capacity and energy to drive improvement, to lead by example and to develop collaboration within the department and across the College.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to work closely with leaders, in a pivotal role, to demonstrate their ability to champion the College’s development and to be part of our challenging, but rewarding, journey towards improvement.
