Maths/SEND Learning Support Assistant job summary
Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to support with Maths interventions across KS3 and KS4. The role will include a range of responsibilities as well as working in partnership with class teachers to support learning with individual students under the direction of teaching staff.
The successful candidate should be committed to supporting students and developing links with parents/carers together with key staff. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required together with sound literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
This post is subject to satisfactory references being received and a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure being obtained from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and may suit those who wish to progress in to a teaching career.
