Heacham Junior School aims to create an environment where pupils are enthused to learn and respect the world around them. We benefit from exceptional space around our school and a family link with Heacham Infant and Nursery.
Our aim is to create an ethos where each child is able to develop as an individual; socially, emotionally, physically and academically, by providing a secure, happy and stimulating environment. We aim to help our pupils increase their self-confidence and to build lively, enquiring minds; enabling each to reach his or her full potential.

We love to live in this beautiful part of Norfolk, but our pupils have limited access to the wider world. So we deliver a bespoke knowledge rich curriculum throughout Key Stage Two that inspires our pupils and staff to learn and remember more. We want everyone to experience and enjoy learning across a broad, relevant and diverse curriculum. Pupils are ready to make the transitions across Key Stages and our pupils do well when they move to Smithdon High School – our local school.

We enjoy regular sporting opportunities, clubs, music lessons, visits and outdoor learning. We enrich our curriculum further with performances, competitions and poetry recitals. We have an Artsmark Award, Kitemark Awards and are beginning our journey as an International School.

We remain a highly inclusive and supportive school, working with families in equal partnership.
