We have an excellent Maths department who achieve fantastic GCSE and A-Level Results. For example, in 2019, 73% of the Year 11 cohort achieved Level 4+ at GCSE and 22% achieved Level 7+.
As a Maths teacher you will be committed to delivering high quality learning experiences for all students that will inspire them to achieve the best of their ability.
We are therefore looking to appoint a committed and dynamic practitioner who can join an otherwise fully staffed team to deliver inspirational lessons across all aspects of the Maths curriculum and support our aim to be a great school.

Birchwood High School - Bishop's Stortford Birchwood is an over-subscribed, genuinely comprehensive 11-18 Converter Academy with impressive facilities and results beginning to tip into the "outstanding" category. The majority of our Year 11 students stay on into our Sixth Form, 80% of whom then attend University.
