Maths teacher job summary

Full time permanent post to teach maths up to GCSE level. Starting in September 2019 or January 2020.

We are a highly successful and friendly 11-16 secondary school serving the small market town of Church Stretton and its immediate area. We are part of the South Shropshire Academy Trust, a Multi Academy Trust, consisting of the secondary school and one primary school. We are seeking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic colleague to teach Maths to all abilities up to and including GCSE. The successful candidate will be joining a very dynamic, hard-working team that works very closely together to enrich the learning experiences of the students. We pride ourselves on knowing our students extremely well and aim to personalise their learning and provide tailored support for their success. The post would be equally suitable for either a newly qualified teacher or an experienced practitioner. We are proud of our students and our school; in order to get a first-hand experience of our learning environment, we recommend you arrange an informal visit to the school, prior to interview.
