Teacher of Maths - MPR/UPR
Required for January 2021
HTC would like to invite applications from dynamic, enthusiastic and committed Teachers to join a strong, supportive and forward-thinking department where results are outstanding with 80% of students achieving Grade 9-4 in 2020. Our results are amongst the highest in South East Hants and are due to our relentless focus on teaching, learning and sharing.
HTC is committed to providing the highest quality of learning for all students in every lesson. We have an OFSTED rating of good (most recent OFSTED inspection March 2019). HTC is a ‘school where students’ academic achievements and their personal development are regarded as equally important’. ‘Parents are overwhelmingly positive and appreciate the care and support their children receive’. The College is always developing its practice and we welcome applications from qualified teachers who want to be part of a consistently improving College.
This post would suit an NQT or experienced Maths Teacher with passion and drive. We comprehensively support all new staff and have tailored programs for NQT’s, staff returning to the profession and those seeking a career change. The College is committed to professional development and will seek, where possible, to support staff in their ambitions to further themselves.

About Horndean Technology College
Learning and student achievement is at the heart of all we do, within and beyond the curriculum. We are committed to achieving excellence for all our students, whether it is in public examinations, on the sports field, in a technology challenge or by taking part in a musical or dance production; the opportunities are extensive. Our curriculum is ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted), providing students with many choices and different ways of learning.
In addition to this we are fortunate to have a highly dedicated and well qualified staff that teach engaging lessons and support our young people in becoming responsible and successful future citizens.
