This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mathematics Department within an outstanding Secondary School. The successful candidate will be committed to planning and delivering a high quality, interesting curriculum, which will challenge and inspire all our students. The role will also include analysing and monitoring KS3 data and leading a range of maths interventions for Year 7 - 9 students,

They will also be required to provide guidance, support and advice to staff within the department, taking a leading role in modeling best practice.

We are looking for a teacher who displays the following characteristics:

  • A thoughtful and self-reflective approach to pedagogy;

  • A desire to be an outstanding classroom practitioner

  • A passion for the subject;

  • Excellent ICT skills that makes learning visible in the classroom

  • Excellent subject knowledge and a desire to build on this; and an

  • Enthusiasm for working with 11-16 year old students.
