What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a Maths teacher to join our Maths Faculty. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about Maths with the ability to inspire students and demonstrate excellent classroom management.
They will work with the other members of the department to maintain a focus on progress and raising achievement across all key stages and to enhance the extra-curricular activities offered.
The role is suited to both ECT’s and more experienced teachers. The ability to teach maths to key stage 5 would be advantageous.
The successful candidate should have excellent subject knowledge and a dynamic teaching style that engages students, they will work with the other members of the department to maintain a focus on progress, teaching and learning and raising achievement. It is also expected that they will enhance the extra-curricular activities offered.

We follow STPCD and support staff can join the LGPS. ECT’s follow an established induction programme while more experienced staff are able to join our leadership training programmes. Many among our teaching staff enrol in our school-based MA programme run in conjunction withSt Mary's University. The college is a member of PiXL.
