Maths Teacher job summary
Plymouth CAST Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a committed, enthusiastic and aspirational teacher to join the Maths team within their secondary schools (Notre Dame Plymouth and St. Boniface’s Catholic College).
The successful candidate will embrace our ethos, work hard to help students progress and spread a passion for Mathematics and STEM careers. They will be able to inspire, enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge students to raise achievement at all levels within a culture of high expectations of both staff and students. They will teach all abilities at KS3 and KS4 and will be joining a department that is focused on continuing to maximise outcomes for our students.
Applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers will be equally valued. Experience and/or willingness to teach Computer Science would be advantageous.
We expect successful applicants to show within their application, and at interview, their passion for working with young people and be able to explain how they will embrace and support the Trust’s ethos.
Both secondary schools are Roman Catholic, comprehensive, single-sex schools (Notre Dame – girls, St Boniface’s – boys) with a mixed sixth form at Notre Dame. We value our Catholic ethos, but you don’t need to be a Catholic to apply to work for either school. We ask that our staff support our ethos and Christian attitudes.
Application forms can be submitted via the TES website and should be submitted by the closing date stated below. You will need a TES login to create an application and please be aware all communication will be sent via the portal to the email you use for your TES account. Applicants should check their inbox (and spam folders) after the closing date for more information on the progress of their application.
