We are delighted to be making an appointment for the position of Teacher of Maths for our high achieving, Ofsted Outstanding, 11-18 academy in North Yorkshire.

Outwood Academy Easingwold has one of the the highest performing Post 16 centres in North Yorkshire and our GCSE results are one of the highest for non-selective schools, an achievement we are incredibly proud of.

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner to join our fantastic Maths Department at Easingwold.They will work with us as part of the team who have rapidly transformed the school to one that offers outstanding provision up to A level and is the school of choice in its community. Outcomes in the Maths Department are well above the national average with substantial numbers of students achieving the top grades. Maths is one of our most popular A level courses and we are also delighted that so many students opt to study Further Maths at GCSE and A level. In addition we also offer Core Maths in the Sixth Form to supplement A level choices. The maths department consists of a faculty leader and a second in department as well as a supportive and dedicated team of five maths specialists. You will find our team and our school friendly and supportive with a real passion for raising standards and transforming lives.

Applications are invited for those with experience of teaching maths or Early Career Teachers. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential. You should possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’. You will contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, optimism, celebration and mutual support in the school which promotes equality within, and values the diversity of the school community.
