What skills and experience we're looking for
If you are an enthusiastic, adaptable and resourceful teacher with a sound knowledge of recent curriculum developments as well as a strong commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people, we would welcome your application. Proven ability as a school teacher is essential and experience of teaching at both KS3 and KS4 is desirable.

STARS, judged as outstanding in all areas by Ofsted ( Feb 2024) works with children and young people with complex medical needs who are unable, either temporarily or longer term, to access their mainstream school. The majority of pupils attend the Drapers Centre in Carshalton where they are able to access the curriculum in small groups in a nurturing and therapeutic setting. Other pupils may receive 1-1 individual tuition at various sites within the London Borough of Sutton including the school room at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
