The 2nd SEN point is given with the expectation that the postholder will support with the development of maths for children with SEND across the service.
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Maths Teacher to work alongside our friendly and close-knit team at our KS3 Centre to support students with SEMH. The 2nd SEN Point is given with the expectation that the postholder will support with the development of maths for children with SEND across the service. There is also an option of a TLR3 worth £1,500 for the first year of service. This contract is for 2 years in the first instance.
Candidates will be able to inspire and motivate our students to get the very best meaningful outcomes and show a commitment to raising the achievement levels and self-esteem of disaffected young people. Candidates will have strong behaviour management skills and ASD experience and current certificates or a willingness to train in and physically able to use Team Teach techniques.
