What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will join our Mathematics department at an exciting time. Through high quality teaching and learning, good communication, consistency and mutual respect, the Maths Faculty work collaboratively as a team to raise student expectations and maximise achievement. We foster in students an enthusiasm and passion for our subject, inspiring pupils and instilling a desire to succeed and achieve their full potential and beyond in a supportive environment. We are growing our team in order to enhance our provision further.
The faculty comprises a team of nine expert maths specialists and A level maths and further maths are popular subjects.

Allestree Woodlands School is a popular and successful 11-18 school, providing high quality education for 1350 students (200+ in the sixth form). The school is situated on the northern edge of the city of Derby in a very pleasant setting overlooking the Kedleston Hall National Trust estate.
