Maths Teacher Vacancy at Pilton Community College (Maternity Cover 1.0 FTE) job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Maths Teacher to teach Maths across the full ability range at Key Stages 3 and 4. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject are essential.
This is a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover post from September 2020 to December 2020*. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Maths teacher, or Newly Qualified Maths teacher, to join our friendly and rapidly improving school in Barnstaple.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher and will have the advantage of:

You must have high expectations of yourself, your colleagues and your students, and be committed to creating a stimulating learning environment which challenges everyone to achieve the highest standards.
You must be highly organised, with the ability to establish effective learning opportunities and deliver outstanding lessons, encouraging our students to be the best they can. If you have the ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support students to ensure they make good progress we would like to hear from you.
