MDSA job summary

You will be responsible for the supervision of children (from ages 3 to 11) during lunchtime. This will include supervision in the dining hall and within the school building, inaddition to encouraging the children to play actively, safely and imaginatively outside.

When working in the dining hall you will be required to set up/put down tables and benches, wipe tables and sweep the floor, as well as supervising the children eating.

When working outside you will be actively engaging with the children, encouraging positive play and supporting children getting along together.

It will be important that you are able to form good relationships and communicate well with your colleagues and the children in your care.

Millbrook Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and therefore successful candidates will be required to provide recent relevant references, and undergo a medical check, online searches and a DBS disclosure check at an enhanced level.
