What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a Mealtime Assistant to assist the Headteacher as part of a team, in securing the safety and welfare of pupils during the midday break. This will involve supervision of pupils in the dining hall and in the playground and other school premises and associated ancillary duties. We are looking for someone who can join our incredibly dedicated team; someone who is inclusive, enthusiastic, caring, adaptable and flexible and a strong team player.
Successful candidates will: -
- Be able to work in partnership with the current teaching staff to complement their delivery of the national curriculum
- Have the ability to plan and deliver structured teaching and learning activities
- Provide cover for staff, as well as supporting pupils with catch up work
- contribute to the development of other support staff, pupils and school policies and strategies, and provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all
