Working pattern

Part time, term time: 10 hours per week – 38 weeks per year, Permanent Contract + commitment to attend two Autumn Term Non-Pupil Days (September Safeguarding refresher and Autumn term Safety Interventions refresher) which the successful candidate would be able to claim additional hours for.

What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Basic Literacy skills as recognised via a qualification
  • Experience working with children and/or young people
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Willingness to gain knowledge of the learning processes and needs of specific children
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • An understanding of equal opportunities
  • Basic ICT knowledge - experience using a mobile/tablet device for accessing emails
  • Able to run and have no significant back problems
