We are looking for an excellent Media teacher to join a highly successful team that consistently achieves some of the best GCSE, A level and BTEC results in the country, twice winning ‘The Good Schools Guide’ award for A level achievement. Our facilities, including a film studio and suite of Mac computers, are impressive, so it is essential for you to have excellent production skills.
The department teaches Media GCSE and A level, Film Studies GCSE and Media BTEC to students from year 9 to 6th form and the successful candidate will be expected to take a full role in delivering these courses.
We offer an environment with a supportive induction and professional development programme, recognising that our teachers are the reason for our continuing success. Our status as a Teaching School means we are able to offer staff the highest quality support. Sir John Lawes has been part of the Scholars’ Education Trust since 2012.
