Medical Officer job summary
We are looking to appoint a Medical Officer to work with our children. This is a new exciting role for someone who is a highly organised and caring individual who possesses common sense, flexibility and the ability to communicate positively with a wide range of people.
35 hours per week - term time plus 5 training days.
Hours: 8:15am - 15:45pm
Monday - Friday
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and delivering all first aid requirments
- Administering care to deal with daily medical needs and illness
- Liaise with parents, staff and other outside agencies
- Maintain school health records and student medical plans
- Liaise with community health teams
- Provide administrative support
- Accompany pupils on school trips
- You will have the ability to work and communicate effectively with adults and children at all levels.
- You will enjoy working independently but also as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with experience of Management Information Systems you will have an analytical mind and good attention to detail
