What skills and experience we're looking for

We are delighted to offer the opportunity to join Nunnery Wood High School, a successful, popular and exciting school. You will work with highly skilled and committed colleagues who have built a thriving languages department. A reputation for strong teaching and good examination results means that language courses are becoming increasingly popular at GCSE. Students hold languages in high esteem and enjoy going to the MFL area, comprising of six dedicated rooms.

We are currently looking to appoint a Language Assistant(s) to work both on a one-to-one basis, and with larger groups of pupils to prepare them for oral exams and to provide general support in their studies. The department offers French, Spanish and German to GCSE and the school is interested in applicants who are fluent in any of these subjects.

Welcome to Nunnery Wood High School. Nunnery Wood High School is an academy in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. It is a co-educational school and a Science College with about 1500 students on roll aged from 11 to 16. In 1983 following a restructuring of schools in Worcestershire the Nunnery Wood Secondary School was renamed Nunnery Wood High School. The school campus is located on the edge of Worcester, surrounded by some 15 acres (61,000 m2) of gardens and playing fields which it shares with the adjacent Sixth Form College.
