What skills and experience we're looking for
We seek an individual who is passionate about Modern Foreign Languages, who will stretch and challenge pupils of all abilities whilst ensuring the importance of inclusive education for all learners. You will have an innovative outlook and a commitment to the role together with a clear ambition and enthusiasm for Modern Foreign Languages and be fully involved in the life of the school.
The successful candidate will:
- have a passion to enthuse students using expertise in Modern Foreign Languages
- have expertise and a passion for pedagogy
- teach French to KS3 and GCSE and possibly A level
- ideally, be able to teach a second MFL to KS3 and if appropriate GCSE
- be outgoing, flexible and adaptable to cope with demands of the role
- have a commitment to professional development
- have experience of working with children
- be able to manage a whole classroom environment
- be a form tutor and support the academic and pastoral development of your tutor group
- have a passion for extra-curricular/enrichment activities
