What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for somebody to support us in the expansion of our language provision and deliver the best possible provision for our students. We are open to this language being either French or Spanish with the focus on finding the right person for the job. The Modern Foreign Language department is currently made up of one German teacher and forms part of the wider Communications Faculty which also includes English, Music and Art. We will allocate additional funding to the department budget in your first year to develop resources as required.The Governors of Lady Hawkins’ School wish to appoint a Teacher of Spanish or French at KS3 & KS4 to expend our current MFL Department.

We are looking for someone with a passion for languages who can inspire our students and play an active part in school life.
