What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will be a strong and engaging practitioner, with a passion for the teaching of German up to and including A level, along with the ability to teach French as required. You will be able to demonstrate initiative in your role, as well as being flexible so as to meet changing needs in your environment. You will be able to build effective relationships with both staff and students, and will be a positive role model for the students.

The Modern Foreign Languages Faculty is composed of French and German departments. Our colleagues work collaboratively to ensure the highest standard of education for our students. MFL is a core subject through to the end of Year 11 , and French and German are popular choices at A-level. Students’ progress and outcomes in languages are very strong. Our students’ success is underpinned by an engaging and inspiring experience from KS3 and the wealth of subject and curriculum knowledge across our team. We are looking for an engaging practitioner to join our team of experienced MFL teachers. This post would be suitable for an ECT.
