Midday Activity Supervisor - Level 3- Abbey Hill Academy & College job summary
The St Bart's Multi Academy Trust, in partnership with Governors, staff and children of Abbey Hill Academy and College are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our hard working and committed team.

The successful candidate will be working alongside a team of caring, enthusiastic, dedicated staff, who are well-supported by their Senior Leadership Team.
Job Purpose
To work as part of a team, supervising other staff and monitoring pupils’ behaviour during the midday break.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Allocate duties to midday assistants
- Organise supervision of pupils during the midday break
- Oversee the supervision of activities and maintain the health, safety, welfare, good conduct andsafeguarding of pupils during the midday break
- Report incidents in line with school policy
- Liaise with colleagues on how to meet any individual pupil needs (e.g. SEN)
- Undertake playground supervision
- Undertake similar work at other times such as before and after school
- Ensure adequate first aid treatment is available during the midday break
- Encourage pupils to select and eat healthy balanced meals
- Oversee and participate in dining arrangements this includes the cleaning up of spillages of food orliquid during meal service and wiping down of tables and clean dining areas between meals
- Set up and run activities for pupils in playground areas
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within theacademy, raising any concerns following academy protocol/procedures
- Any other duties appropriate to the post.
