What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint two members of staff to join our team of Midday Assistants in caring for our children over the lunchtime period at Havannah Primary School.

The role includes assisting with setting up the lunchtime dining area, supervision of children during lunch time, arranging age appropriate activities in the classes during wet playtime and ensuring that the school's Behaviour Policy is applied effectively. We are looking for someone who is committed to the role, is honest, professional and reliable and has resilience, energy and enthusiasm and it is important to be able to interact positively with pupils.

The candidate should have the ability to put their initiative and experience to good use. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children and as part of a team. The hours are Monday-Friday. 1.5 hours per day, either 11.30 am to 1 pm or 11.45 am – 1.15 pm, term time only.
