Midday Assistant job summary

Purpose of the Job:
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of students during the lunchtime period.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:
You will supervise students, in the dining hall, outside areas and/or school premises. Ensuring the safety, welfare, physical and mental well-being of students and the maintenance of good order and discipline.

Your duty is to be vigilant, to notice and reward good behaviour, and to intervene early and distract students to prevent problems arising.

Training will be given, however if you have experience and/or a current enhanced DBS that would be desirable but not essential.
