A new opportunity has arisen, for a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our successful team supporting students at lunchtime. Stanford-Le-Hope Primary School are looking for an aspirational Midday Assistant to work as part of a team at Stanford-Le-Hope Primary School, which is a member of Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. MDA’s create a very positive, happy and secure environment in our playgrounds, dining hall and the school building at lunchtime.
The successful applicant must:
- Interact with the children to encourage good social skills and will lead outdoor activities to encourage participation
- Encourage healthy eating, preparing the tables, supervise playing with the children outside, supervising the clearing up of games and toys, administering first aid and using the school’s behaviour plan
- Ensure the safety and care of pupils who are injured or unwell & provide comfort if distressed
- Assist children with Personal Care where necessary
- Be willing to undertake training, including First Aid
