What skills and experience we're looking for

• To have had a minimum of 6 months’ experience of child care in any capacity.
• To have an ability to communicate patiently with children.
• To be able to work as part of a team.
• To have the physical capability to carry out the required duties.
• To understand the dangers that might exist in playground situations and be able to put into effect reasonable safety measures.
• The ability to deliver services within the School’s Equal Opportunities framework.

The Bridge School is one school split into two parts – the Primary School for 2-11 year olds and the Secondary school for 11-19 year olds. It is a special school for children with severe learning difficulties and/or autism based in Islington. The Bridge School has been recognised as outstanding in its last four inspections. We are a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) school.
