The Governing Body of Hillborough Infant and Nursery School is seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor Assistant to start as soon as possible as part of our Midday Team. Hillborough Infant and Nursery School is Ofsted rated Good, with pupils who are keen to learn.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable individual.
We require a committed and self-motivated individual with an enthusiasm for working with young people.
The successful applicant will work as part of a team and will undertake a range of tasks such as:
- Supervise pupils immediately before, during and after the midday break. This includes pupils who have a school meal as well as pupils who bring their own food.
- Assist pupils as required with toileting and personal hygiene (under the general direction of the Senior Midday Supervisor).
- Assist with the lifting and handling of non-ambulant pupils in conjunction with other staff members, making use of mechanical aids as necessary.
- Encourage and assist pupils in eating, cutting up food, providing guidance on the proper use of cutlery. Assist with the clearance of spillages as necessary.
- Assist pupils in carrying/transporting trays to the tables, clearing trays and returning crockery/trays to the food counter.
- In the event of a pupil becoming ill, distressed, or experiencing an accident, provide initial aid and summon qualified assistance.
- Wipe/wash pupils after meals and wash aprons, plastic bibs etc. as necessary.
- Dress pupils for outside play activities and supervise pupils in the playground.
