We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor Assistant to serve hot school meals and supervise children over lunchtime.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Checking meals prior to serving
  • Setting up the hall and serving meals
  • Carrying out washing-up
  • Cleaning of equipment, kitchen and hall areas, as directed
  • Help and support children with their personal, social and emotional development needs
  • Monitor the behaviour of children at all times in conjunction with the school’s policy on discipline and behaviour
  • Supporting the school’s first aid procedures


We are looking for someone who is/can:

  • Well organised and can remain calm under pressure
  • Team player
  • Able to take a proactive role in the wider life of the school
  • Able to confidently supervise/lead playtime/lunchtime activities
  • Keen, conscientious and adaptable
