Midday Supervisor job summary

Ormiston NEW Academy, recently graded Ofsted 'Good', is a school based on a clear and defined pedagogical model and explicitly taught behavioural norms. The latest inspection report praises the school’s leaders for creating a "culture where positive behaviour and discipline are celebrated". It says that NEW Academy is a “vibrant school”, that students “enjoy coming to” and where they are “safe”. Students at NEW Academy understand that they must try their best and strive for excellence at all times,” In the most recent Ofsted inspection one student told inspectors, “I know that today will not be my best, because tomorrow will be better”.

The role of the midday supervisor is to work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to ensure the safety of the students during lunch and free time activities.

Ormiston NEW Academy caters for 11 to 19 year olds. With 1,066 students on roll, we provide a vibrant learning environment with first-class facilities. Our Academy is a member of Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) which is one of the largest not-for-profit multi-academy trusts in England.
