Midday Supervisor job summary

St Thomas More Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint an individual to join our team to look after the children during the lunchtime period. The ability to work as part of a team is essential and previous experience would be desirable, but not essential. In return, we can offer a strong supportive team ethos committed to continuous improvement as well as any relevant training.

The post holder will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, follow school policies and the Trust Code of Conduct. The Trust is committed to ensuring that it complies with all legislative requirements on safeguarding and child protection.

To supervise the children during the lunch period ensuing their health, safety and welfare are prioritised at all times.

This job description may be amended at any time, following consultation between the employee and the Director of School Improvement and will be reviewed annually.

Under the direction of the Headteacher, SLT and Office Administrator, be responsible for the safety, welfare and good behaviour of children during the midday lunch break.
