About the Role
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Wrap Around Care Assistant to join our team. You will deliver high-quality and varied activities within a safe and nurturing wraparound care setting (e.g., Breakfast or After-school provision). You will play a key role in supporting children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development while maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in a safe and inclusive wraparound care setting.
- Supervise children during sessions, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
- Prepare and serve healthy snacks, considering dietary needs and food hygiene standards.
- Coordinate smooth transitions between classes and wraparound care.
- Maintain a welcoming, well-resourced environment and communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Support the overall ethos of the school through teamwork and flexibility.
