Midday Supervisor - Woodland Department - Downley job summary

Woodland Department at Chiltern Wood School caters for pupils who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties or Severe Learning Difficulties with additional physical and sensory needs. We pride ourselves on building positive relationships with our pupils, their families and supporting professionals to enable communication, physical, social and emotional development for each individual.

We have extensive facilities on site to support this development and provide learning opportunities through a variety of experiences, lessons and routines.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Midday Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent position from June 2025. You will be well supported by experienced and welcoming staff within a well-run, hard-working school which holds as its core value the wellbeing of its pupils, parents and staff.

If you are interested in learning how to contribute purposefully to the educational and social development of our pupils and you feel you have the qualities to successfully attend to their welfare and emotional needs, we warmly invite you to arrange a tour of our school, Faulkner Way, Downley, HP13 5HB. You will have the opportunity to observe our classes and meet with our staff for informal discussion about the post.

Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
