Heathcote School is seeking a motivated and caring Midday Supervisor to join our team as we embark on our exciting Opal Play journey. Lunchtimes at Heathcote are just as important for learning as any other part of the school day, and we’re looking for someone passionate about supporting children in developing life skills, good manners, and positive social interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Modelling Respectful Behaviour: Demonstrating positive manners and respectful communication, helping children understand how to interact kindly with others.
Building Strong Relationships: Fostering a supportive and welcoming environment where children feel safe and valued.
Promoting Life Skills: Encouraging children to practice good table manners, share, take turns, and solve problems independently.
Supporting Opal Play: Engaging with children to explore creative outdoor play that enhances their social, emotional, and physical development.

- A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their well-being.
- A positive and proactive attitude to help children learn through play.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to model good manners and respectful behaviour.
- Patience, kindness, and the ability to build strong relationships with children and staff.
- The ability to encourage and guide children to make positive choices during lunchtime.

Heathcote Primary School is a free school which opened in September 2017. We are part of Community Academies Trust. The school is part of a new community which is growing rapidly. We cater for children who predominantly live in the estates surrounding the school and Leamington Spa. The school is 2-form entry and is set in wonderful grounds which are developing. We have a forest school area, sports field, amphitheater and surrounding land which is ripe for development. We are particularly focussed on developing a curriculum which is embedded in outdoor learning.
