Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary

We are a thriving infant and nursery school with an independent Pre-School on-site. We all work closely together to ensure the children in our school have a very positive experience whilst they are with us. The Role

The role will involve supervising and supporting children under the direction of the Head teacher/Deputy Head teacher, to ensure the safety and well-being of pupils to help the children experience a positive lunchtime as well following school routines and our school code while in play areas, the dining room, classrooms or when moving around school.

We wish to appoint someone who:

  • Builds positive relationships with our children (aged 3 -7) and colleagues.
  • Shows initiative and enthusiasm and is always kind and caring.
  • Is curious about children's behaviour and is keen to develop strategies to support children's behaviour at lunchtimes.
