Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly and hard working team. The hours are 11.45am - 1.15pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

This role will involves regulated activity with the pupils of Springmead School working in the dining room as well as on the playground. We are looking for candidates with an enthusiasm for play who are willing to use their own initiative to make playtimes fun, enjoyable and safe for children.

Full training will be provided. The most important quality is the desire to make a difference to this part of the school day and an enjoyment of working with children.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and staff and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, all applicants must declare even "spent" convictions and cautions as this roles could involve working with a vulnerable group. Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check. Please note that we are required to carry out social media checks on all candidates who are invited for interview.
