What skills and experience we're looking for

Drake Primary School are looking to appoint enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistants.

This position is temporary until the end of the summer term and is likely to be made permanent in September. The position is Monday to Friday, one hour a day, between 11.45- 13.15. The rate of pay is £11.59 an hour.

Personal qualities are of paramount important and the person appointed will be expected to display patience, enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility and reliability. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Duties will include the supervision of pupils over the lunchtime period ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils in the dining room (includes table cleaning, moving duties, and chair stacking), playground supervision or classroom supervision during wet playtimes and engaging with children in play.
