Our Opportunity
We are looking for someone to help our pupils have fun and stay safe at lunchtime. As a Midday Supervisory Assistant you will work as part of a team monitoring pupil behaviour during the midday break to ensure a caring and safe environment.
The modern school enjoys an open aspect with good playing fields, separate playgrounds for Early Years, Infant and Junior children, play equipment, an outdoor gym, an astroturf multi-use games area, lawns and gardens.
This role allows you to get some fresh air whilst you split your time between the dining hall and the playground outside. Filled with fun themed areas such as the castle and ship area of the playground, you will ensure the pupils stay safe whilst on their imaginary adventures!
This role is ideal for those who wish to gain further experience working with children in a school environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Awareness of health and hygiene issues
- Experience appropriate to working with children
- Judgemental skills
- Demonstrable interpersonal skills
- Ability to work successfully in a team
- Confidentiality
- Initiative
Additional requirements:
- Two references confirming suitability for the role
- Commitment to safeguarding
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Able to provide evidence of police checks for any time spent living or working abroad
