Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) who possesses a warm personality to join the very friendly and supportive team at our all-age special school for pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties.
You may be required to work with pupils of any age and ability. Emotional and physical resilience, the ability to stay calm in challenging situations, patience and a good sense of humour are all very important.
A commitment to maintaining outstanding levels of Safeguarding for all our pupils and staff is essential.
You may also have the opportunity to work additional hours as a Relief Learning Support Assistant (casual contract).

Hillside is a very successful all-age special school for pupils with a wide range of complex needs including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autism. We place the pupils at the heart of everything.
Hillside retained the “Outstanding” rating, for a fourth consecutive occasion, in a short inspection by Ofsted in March 2018.
