The ideal candidate;

  • Will monitor the wellbeing of the pupils and assist in the clearing away of the lunchtime areas where necessary.
  • Will have a willingness to undertake first aid training if required.
  • Will be working as part of a friendly and supportive team so being a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution focused attitude is essential.
  • Will have the ability to confidently organises suitable activities for small groups of children.
  • Demonstrates the ability to listen carefully to pupils, showing kindness, empathy and understanding with a certain degree of flexibility as the role may change depending on the needs of the pupils.
  • Has a calm, caring demeanor and is able to nurture children.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to work within different areas of the school (as needed) over the lunchtime period.
